The National Endowment for the Humanities is offering a three week summer seminar for k-12 teachers on Roman daily life, focusing on Petronius’ Satyricon and Pompeii. This runs from July 18 – August 5, and the NEH will provide teachers with a $2700 stipend to cover the living and food expenses (estimated at $1500), and then some. The seminar will be held in St. Peter, Minnesota (about one hour from Minneapolis) on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College.
