The Maine Classical Association is a group of Latin teachers, Classics Professors, and other non-professional or retired citizens of Maine and beyond. Along with providing a network of Classicists in this great state, the MCA also puts on two meetings each year: one in the Fall designed around scholarship, and the other in the Spring on pedagogy. The Executive Board is elected every two years, and contains members from high schools and universities from around the state. Several times a year, the MCA also publishes the CLAMOR, its newsletter on classical events and happenings in the state about MCA members. This website as well has a blog associated with it, which publishes information on the Maine Classical Association, the Maine Junior Classical League (for high school students taking Latin or Greek), and news articles on Classics.
